Dr. Udo Jakobs studied chemistry at the University of Regensburg. With his PhD-theses ”Flotation separation of feldspar and quartz without hydrofluoric acid” he entered the world of mineral processing. From 01.07.1993 - 30.06.1996 he joined Amberger Kaolinwerke Eduard Kick GmbH (Hirschau, Germany) with the process development department. Since 01.07.1995 Dr. Udo Jakobs was head of the R&D-department - developing new separation and upgrading processes for kaolin, feldspar and quartz separation, also developing new applications for these minerals. From July 1996 - 1997 Dr. Udo Jakobs was managing director of Norwegian Crystallites AS (Drag, Norway) - production of High Purity Quartz products. Dr. Jakobs GmbH is offering services in development and marketing of high purity minerals. Dr. Jakobs GmbH develops the optimum process regarding your special raw material. Our philosophy is not going the old and traditional ways but creating new and advanced processes and selecting the best available equipment. |
